Gay World Adventures is a new company, but one that has been built upon a foundation of years of experience, and involvement in the gay community at large. GWA’s goal is to provide quality products at a price that doesn’t take advantage of the “ It’s a gay package, so let’s charge more” factor, and, thus, our company motto, Your Gay World for Less!

We take into consideration the destination, the time of year, the quality of the package, and the cost value before we decide on the rate. We hope that this formula is a winning one, and one that leads to a hand in hand relationship between Gay World Adventures and our clients, our friends, and the gay community.

Who We ARe

GWA tour group to Greece.

A while back Terry Whatley and Rob Robinson were discussing how it was a shame that so many gay men and women were unaware of all of the wonderful travel opportunities that were readily accessible to the gay community, and why so few took advantage of them. At that moment, they decided to find out the reason. So Rob went back to Florida and Terry went back to California and started asking everyone they knew the simple question: “Why don’t you book with gay cruise and travel companies when you go on your vacations?” The response was amazing and the answers were even more so. The number one answer was “Cost”, and the number two answer was the concept that all gay cruises and tours were about “sex and were for young guys”.

Terry and Rob had their answers and the decision to create a company that would offer quality, cost affective vacations to the gay community, in addition to all of the other gay tour and cruise packages that were being offered by other companies. Thus Gay World Adventures was born giving the gay community the opportunity to see “Your Gay World for Less!”

Terry Whatley, “The Trip Guy” has been in the Travel and Hospitality Industry for over 30 years. Terry had vacationed on over 15 cruises when he decided to venture into the travel field as a career, and has now been on over 75. Terry has worked for some of largest travel companies, in both the leisure and convention fields, and has been designing customized tours since 1986. 10 years ago, Terry started designing gay vacations for small groups of friends, and 5 years ago he decided to concentrate in this area under the guise of “Terry the Trip Guy.” Now Terry has devoted his resources full time into developing Gay World Adventures with his business partner Rob Robinson.

Rob Robinson comes from a family background totally immersed in the Hospitality Industry. Rob was raised in Palm Beach, Florida and was accustomed to seeing the world at an early age, and it has been his passion ever since. Rob has traveled extensively throughout Europe and North America and has not stopped there. Rob’s adventurous nature has him constantly on the move looking for new and exciting destinations, and is now utilizing all of his expertise to help create unique and cost conscious vacations for the gay community.

Craig Morgan, our Entertainment Director has been active in the gay community for over 35 years (he's done some work too!) He is a self-trained auctioneer (for charities) and has MC'd many shows and fundraisers across the country. (He's a bit of a ham!!) Craig spends most of his time trying come up with fun things to do on our GWA Exclusive “Escorted” Packages. From Stripper Pool Parties to Pink Flamingo Parties; you just never know what he will come up with next. Craig is an avid traveler and you will probably have the opportunity to travel with him on many of our GWA Exclusive “Escorted” Packages. So, beware! He’ll make sure you will have a good time.
